Hi there, I'm
XR/Software/Machine Learning developerCurrently working as a Creative XR Developer for Meteor Studio @ASU
Namaste! My name is Prakhar Bhartiya, and I am a graduate with an MSCS degree from ASU. At present, I am employed as a creative XR developer at Meteor Studio - ASU.
I strongly believe in learning by doing, which is a crucial aspect of my work. In my opinion, hands-on experience is irreplaceable, and I am always on the lookout for opportunities to apply my skills in practical situations.
By taking on challenging projects and experimenting with new ideas, I am continually growing and evolving as a developer. My expertise lies in Extended Reality (AR+VR), Machine Learning, and AI, and I have also explored computer vision and full-stack development.
I am an idea-driven individual who believes that solid ideas can overcome any skill barriers. I am always on the lookout for innovative solutions and am committed to finding the right tools to bring these ideas to life. You can explore my fascinating projects on my GitHub page, and if any of them catch your eye, feel free to reach out to me for a chat.

• As the Lead Developer for the project, I am responsible for maintaining the
repository, creating documentation, and software testing to detect and resolve bugs.
• Currently working on the "Career XRcade" project, which is funded by Verizon
Innovation Lab. This innovative platform provides learners with a virtual space to
explore a diverse range of career paths and understand how their educational
experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, can connect to career-oriented
opportunities.
• Contributing to various aspects of the project, including environment design, game
design, scripting, and scene optimization
for Standalone, VR (Quest2 and Pico Neo3 Pro), and WebGL builds.
• Ensured smooth performance across all platforms, including meeting the 2GB constraint
for the WebGL build, resulting in
about 3x faster load time.
• Implemented a pharmaceutical excipient recommender system for various commercially
available medications.
• Employed various data mining and OCR techniques to process 20GB of heterogeneous
medical data from open-source, utilizing the LEMP stack.
• Developed and deployed a Unity-based web application for the company's educational
portal service system on Microsoft
Azure, mandatory for all trainees.
• Built an AR Application to assist Field Engineers and clients in visualizing
industrial sites and monitoring live IoT data from
on-site machines, significantly reducing travel time and update costs.
• Presented four proof of concepts to the CEO of Weir Global, leading to acceptance for
prototyping phase.
• Engaged in the development of a smartphone localization technique using spatial 3D
point cloud maps of a large indoor space
module, including establishment and integration of server-side REST API with the
application UI.
• Assisted in testing and UI/UX design for iOS/Android applications developed in Unity
• "PIXELS" is AR/VR club of PESIT-BSC. The project began in October 2018 with the goal
of introducing AR/VR to students and developing real-world applications.
• Invited as a judge for Gameathon 2020.
• Speaker and committee member of TechWarts, a technical community for undergraduate
students.
• Guided 150+ students through AR/VR workshops under Pixel.

Built a WebAR experience which allow users to virtually try on clothing on there 3D model with just a single picture before placing a purchase. Users now now readily try on clothing of various colors and sizes to determine which fits them best and which style best expresses their personalities
Created an Augmented Reality tool for commercial products with features including 3D model visualization, product information, health tips, and indoor navigation for altervative product. The solution provides an enhanced shopping experience, ideal for supermarkets and utilizing the GS1 Database
Built an android application to effectively address the challenge of biometric liveness detection using EEG data. The application integrates state-of-the-art machine learning techniques such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), Autoencoders, and feature extraction to ensure accurate detection of biometric liveness.
Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) is the most common form of breast cancer, with a 99% survival rate if detected early. The current detection method requires an expert pathologist to examine tissue slices. We automated the process by developing a 95% accurate CNN model for breast cancer classification and localization.
Developed and deployed a ChatGPT(davinci-003 model)-powered web application for widespread use. Additionally, created a WhatsApp extension chatbot to enhance user access to APIs through direct communication support regional languages. Application was designed to support NavKiran Academy, a free government coaching institute for government competitive exams, and is currently utilized by both students and tutors.
Implemented an image recognition system for detecting and categorizing garbage in real-time. Resnet101 CNN model was utilized to compute garbage volume and type estimation. The information was then visualized on a Google heat map with points proportional to the garbage volume detected to provide a reference for Municipalities
